This year marks the 10th anniversary of the epic Roots Picnic. Held at Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing, this is a festival that should not be missed. Each year, The Roots handpick an amazing line up to illuminate the Delaware River Waterfront, and 2018 is not any different. This year The Roots present a Jam Session hosted by Dave Chappelle with special guests. Fans recall the many collaborations between the Roots and Dave Chappelle over the years, creating and promoting awareness surrounding a variety of issues.
The Roots Picnic is a platform that highlights diversity among several genres. Along with Dave Chappelle, special guests include Lil Uzi Vert, Dirty Projectors, The Diplomats, 2 Chainz, 6lack, DVSN, Brandy, Black Thought and J.
