Councilman Kenyatta Johnson partnered with Philadelphia 76ers players, Amir Johnson and Robert Covington for his annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway. Covington and Johnson have sponsored 200 turkeys that was distributed. The event took place at Francis Myers Recreation Center. Families in need as well as churches in the Second District, registered for the giveaway.
